I had my first official art shows on Thursday night, of course they were at the exact same time, but everything worked out well, someone even wanted to buy one of my prints (the top right "Bridges" one) but I told him I was halfway done making 15 more of the same print and he can buy one of those, so yeah ego boost! :) This is just a small selection of my print work from the quarter. I absolutely loved and hated this class, love way more, hate when things got long and tedious or like this week when my final project was due and plan a: carving a humungous linol block didnt work out because when I took it home for thanksgiving, it fell over and broke apart. then I went to plan b making stencils out of transparcies, which I did and it took me a million hours but, poof! they vanished, I guess thats what you get when you use clear materials. Luckily plan C, monotype! worked out to my liking, thank god. All i know is when I take intermediate print, it is definitely going to be when I have a super easy schedule, it takes up so much time...oy! I'll get around to scanning my stuff from the quarter sooner or later. Oh yeah and the 2 shows were for Print 14 and Photo 19, both intro classes.
