nothing but a lost fraud

So Lost has always slightly interested me but the fact that I didn't start watching it from the start and the fact that I really don't have the time to watch 6 years of a show I never have watched it until...tonight, the series finale. so yeah I'm sitting in a room of people who have watched every episode and knows everything and i'm getting my fix by watching the series recap and the series finale.

On another note, my sister's in the states! yay and I get to see her thursday through tuesday, I absolutely, positively cannot wait! its going to be amazing and I especially can't wait for my sissy to visit me at school for a couple of days here in Santa Barbara.

On yet another note, David James Elliot is returning to tv!!!! he's going to be in Scoundrels, which i must say doesn't look to promising, im guessing it'll be round next season for 3-7 episodes. Yeah... seeing him on tv not as harm from JAG is a big bummer and makes me wonder, "why nbc? why did JAG end? It was the best!"

new name new perspective

at my school dining commons there is always a "world of the week" on the tv screens that advertise the events on campus.
this weeks word:

Wanderlust –noun
a strong, innate desire to rove or travel about.

what would could describe me more?
not a one I have come across. so a new name is in order.

I really think this is fitting as I really want to turn over a new leaf as a person.
I want to be more proactive, more my old self
I do not know if its just college but it seemed to have had an opposite effect on me, rather than spreading my wings I got scared and have become more timid and submissive than i have ever been.
Its time to change, its time to be the main character in my story. Its time.

Uncertainty

Thanks to Hulu's movie trailers I saw the preview for Uncertainty today and I was hooked. After a little research I found that it was a straight to dvd thing (sad for them good for me i guess) and thanks to netflix (celestial ahhh! please) I just finished watching it. Ok so the entire reason I watched the trailer was because Joseph Gordon-Levitt is in it, throw in some unanswered questions and the girl from Wolverine(or Lynn Collins, whatever you want to call her) and we've got ourselves a movie.

Ok the opening, amazing. A couple talks, making a decision, the man pulls out a coin. He flips it they look at it, then each other, then, sprint in opposite directions where the other is waiting in two different color coded plot parallels. I love how there are so many questions raised and left but one thing you can count on is that you know exactly when there is a transition between the stories. The art direction is really just awesome and I probably am a bit biased because of my love for independent and low-budget films but I seriously liked this film that will really keep you thinking long after the swirly credits are over.

For fear of revieling too much I will end with a few things you will be in store for if you watch this unknown gem:
