Pleasant Expectancies

My sister recently sent me a postcard with the dutch phrase
Prettige Vooruitzichten
on it and according to my computer translator it means
Pleasant Expectanies. (Though please correct me if I am mistaken)
I think I love the phrase now.

This little guy was on the back

Its is also apparently a Rick Treffers' Documentary which I just might check out if I can.

I also I love this song:

"...and I felt complete"

oh vampire weekend you never cease to amuse me.
so the actors in this video just might be the worst tennis players on the planet but i dont care.

"When I was 17
I had wrists like steel
And I felt complete"

i'm not entirely sure what this song is about but sticking with the tennis themed i found that part amusing...

a little princess who loved India

helped me get into a class I crashed

Let me establish two things:
1. I love A Little Princess
2. I love India
now that that's settled let me elaborate.
So with UC budget cuts of course I had to crash courses this quarter, and it just so happened that I had to crash the course I wanted most, Gods of India. With only 200 spots total in the class and 197 crashers on top of that, my chances of getting in were dismall. but I stuck in. The professor told the crashers to send her an email explaining why we wanted the class and I, in turn wrote about how I became interested in Indian Culture to begin with and that was watching A Little Princess as a child. Luckily my professor could see my enthusiasm for the subject matter and I got in. I'm so happy I could sing. I really wish I was home right now just so I could watch my old VHS of the film.
Until next time! x
