vivian leigh & laurence olivier

so if i find something that interests me i often research it for hours on end. presently the relationship between vivian leigh and laurence olivier caught my attention. i find there love story incredibly heartbreaking. it is so sad that fifty years ago their story couldn't have a happy ending even though it could have today. she had bipolar disorder and died from tb, both of which can be easily rendered today. it is just so sad. i feel like their story could be made into an amazing movie but that's just the movie lover in me talking.

i find it so odd that the longer i look at a word the less confident i am of the spelling, its been happening a lot lately where words just look odd. i.e. long, blue, log...

a funny taste in my head

yesterday i had an extremely lazy day. i watched three movies: gigantic, carolina(ehh), and narnia: prince caspian(well the first one i watched in spanish, i suppose i got this one a little better in english, oh and that ben barnes guy is adorable...is that demeaning when he's older than me?). Anyway today was a heck of a lot more productive but boy was it long.
long.
long.
long.

long.

Gigantic

netflix...ahh netflix. well is suppose thats one good thing about summer you can watch and read a heck of a lot more than you can during the year. Well my latest film on my list watched is Gigantic. i liked it for the most part, i suppose i'm deep enough that i understood the metaphors relatively good. i thought it was interesting that there wasn't any kissing, its hard to do love stories without that factor so props to them. personally i think it had a pretty strong beginning but it was a bit lacking in the end. i thought the whole foundation of the story, the chinese baby, was a tad odd but thats what they wanted. id say its one to watch, maybe you can help me a little on some details

today thanks to me bootlegging off of my sister's netflix online i saw i'm reed fish it was pretty good i suppose. i love alexis bledel, she was great. although jay baruchel as well as dj qualls are entirely too thin for my liking. i'm not sure exactly why but the movie kind of bugged me and i haven't taken the time to figure out how so. i feel like it didn't make the full circle or something and it meant to. i don't know i am content that i saw it but there is no need in my eyes to see it again
I love old photos. period. this is my mom when she was two. so adorable, this makes me happy.

Finally

So finally after ages of dying to see this movie i saw it last night and let me tell you i lo-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-ved it. Not only did the amazing trailers introduce me to my favorite song Sweet Disposition by The Temper Trap (and let me tell you considering my last favorite song -Let Go by Frou Frou- was my favorite for over 6 years, i consider that a pretty big feat. So back to the movie although i didn't see it with my preferred company-i wanted to see it with my sister, i saw it with my mom- it was just oh gosh i'm gushing. Well I mean come on considering Joseph Gordon-Levitt is my favorite male actor and the wonderful Zooey is one of my favorites as well you can't exactly go wrong, and they sure didn't. Oh yeah by the way literally 5 minutes before i saw the movie last night i picked up Brick for $3, seriously, new, i was stoked. I suppose i'll call yesterday JGL day, not really as that would be incredibly pitiful. Oh yeah and in the movie i love that they pay homage to the fact that Joseph is a francophile(lover of french culture, i know it is extremely sad that i remember basically every useless thing imaginable). Oh gosh my gushing is about to stop as i don't want to give anything away but really see the film it is amazing.

Tunatic

is a magical thing, apparently shazam is better but this is just fine.. oh the headache it saves...oh the headache
